Thanks for taking the time to find out more About Us! GiftCard Storybooks is a company near and dear to our hearts. We are a young married couple who came up with a creative idea and thought many people could benefit from it. It was an idea that started as an actual gift, given for a birthday. The idea was that there would be several gift cards all given at once, but a creative way to package them as one unit was nowhere to be found. Once the original GiftCard Storybook was created, we knew others would love to give and receive one too! So, here we are today, offering them to you.
From our small beginnings, we have grown as a company, and now offer many storybooks to choose from. We are continually growing and offering more and more books and gift cards. Each book contains hand illustrated images, all drawn in-house and tailor-made for its storyline. Not only that, but here at GiftCard Storybooks, it is important to us to be Green! We strive to use products that are made of a minimum of 30% post-consumer content, with the majority of them being made of 60-90% recycled material. We hope that you, too, will recycle your storybook. Whether that means to give it to more than one recipient, or to make sure it goes into the recycle bin. We hope that you love our earth and love our books just as much as we do!
As a company, we are very interested in giving back. It is for this reason that every single GiftCard Storybook that is purchased will have a portion of its proceeds donated to a charitable foundation, at no extra charge to you. At checkout, you will be able to select from three different foundations, and decide which one you would like your purchase to benefit. You may read below to find out more about each of these charities. Each charity was chosen for the reason that either we, our employees, or those close to us have been touched by their purpose.
Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation International
Mission: The mission of JDRF is to find a cure for Diabetes and its complications through the support of research.
National Hemophilia Foundation
Mission: The National Hemophilia Foundation is dedicated to finding better treatments and cures for bleeding and clotting disorders and to preventing the complications through education, advocacy and research.
Animal Rescue Foundation
Mission: ARF saves dogs and cats who have run out of time at public shelters and brings people and animals together to enrich each other’s lives. ARF strives to create a world where every loving dog and cat has a home, where every lonely person has a companion animal, and where children learn to care.
